Sports Video
I have everything I need other than the camera and lenses: fluid head tripod, 128GB EXTREME SD Card, shotgun microphone. Any recommendations? My only requirement is that the camera be able to shoot good 60 fps video for a long recording duration (obviously with an SD card with enough space. I was looking at the Panasonic GH4, how does that look for my needs?

Heck, yeah! Pair the GH4 with the Panasonic – 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix G Vario Zoom Lens, and you’ve got a winner 🙂

You can save a lot of money and get a GH3.
It shoots unattended unlimited 1080 P60 very nicely.However, I now have the GH4 and there is no going back.
It seems to be at least 10% better in every way.
My indoor videos are brighter and sharper.
Outdoor action stills are better and easier to get.
The lone outdoor (Vollyball) video I took with AVCHD 28mbps was very good.Either way, I would get a Lumix 12-35 and 35-100 f/2.8 lens.
The 7-14 f/4 was dissapointing indoors in poor light.
I am waiting for something faster. -

I just ordered a GH4 and the 35-100 f2.8. It took a bit of calling around to find the GH4 in stock, but the 35-100 is out of stock everywhere.

I picked up my 35-100 at San Jose Camera.
I went up there to get my GH4 and it was on the shelf.
