    Splitting clips bug?

    Splitting clips:

    PART 1: Cannot split clips on a MASTER TIMELINE in the conform window with split clip button – but can with the keyboard shortcut for ‘split clip’.
    STEPS:
    Create a new project with a master timeline.
    Enter color mode
    hit shift/cmd/J to SPLIT CLIP. > this splits clip – good.
    enter CONFORM mode. >
    hit shift/cmd/J to SPLIT CLIP. > this splits clip – good.
    Click on the SPLIT CLIP button > no response.

    PART 2: Cannot split clips in color mode with keyboard shortcut on a new (+) timeline.
    STEPS:
    Create a new project with a master timeline.
    CREATE a new timeline (default timeline 1 with all clips in your bin- should automatically build it for you)
    Enter color mode
    hit shift/cmd/J to SPLIT CLIP. > ERROR – you can only split clips on MASTER TIMELINE
    enter CONFORM mode. >
    hit shift/cmd/J to SPLIT CLIP. > this splits clip – good.
    Click on the SPLIT CLIP button > This Splits the CLIP.

    Is this a glitch / bug, or something I am misunderstanding?
    Is there a shortcut for the WAVE panel to SPLIT clips?

    Confirmed with BM support that this is a bug that needs to be fixed.
