This one should be fairly straightforward, I think. I have a video and only recorded audio on the left channel. It would be great if I could get that channel to come out of both speakers. I figured the best way to do this would be to split the channels somehow and replace the right channel with a copy of the left. If anyone knows how to do this, or an even better solution to my problem, I would love to hear it. Thanks so much.

Unlink the stereo clip. Delete the right channel. Pan the left channel to centre. Voila, useless clip gone and audio out both channels

sorry — this is dumb — but how do you unlink the stereo clip into dual mono?

From the menu: Modify>>Link Uncheck where it says link. If they still both highlight after you’ve done this when you click on them, then uncheck Modify>>Stereo Pair as well.
