  • Splitting a single capture file in Project window into bins

In Premiere Pro 1.5 I am trying to split a single one-hour capture file in the Project window into multiple folders or bins–in the Project window.

The goal is to break this single capture file into multiple shots to facilitate editing.

    Capture with Scenalyzer instead.

I don’t own scenealyzer. What does it do?

The only instruction on creating a subclip I can find in any book on Premiere Pro 1.5 is on page 353 of “Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book” under “Understanding Duplicate clips,” p. 353,

Drag your large single clip onto the timeline cut it into it’s seperate clips and then you can drag these back into seperate bins in your project
    window.
