spliting the interlaced fields to get the “good field”
So I’ve got some BetaSP tapes that have many drop outs or hits. Very annoying. How do I split the interlaced video so I can get the good part of the interlaced video and paste it where the bad one is? Does that make since? Thanks in advance.

Just use the next frame or previous frame to mask out the drops.
