Split Video
I would like to make a demo tape of a particular cell phone and its features. I would like to show a close-up of the keypad. To the left or right of the video showing the keypad I would like to show the phones screen. As I explain and touch the different keys it will show on the cell phone screen.
I hope this makes sense. I would like to split the cell phone in half and position both halves next to each other on the video screen. As I work the keypad you can watch the cell screen and see what the keypad functions are doing.
I would like a black background and a tight shot of just the keypad on one side of the video screen and just the cell phone screen on the other side of the video screen. Hope I’ve explained this well enough so someone can understand what I mean.
I know it can be done because I saw another demo of another cell phone and that’s exactly what they did, only I have no idea how.
Anybody know how to do this in Vegas 6 or 7?

Use Pan/Crop to crop the image and Track Motion to resize and position it.
