Split Screen on Same Clip
I was watching this video and wondering how the split screen was done at :14-:18 where it is the same clip and then parts black out or change independently of each other?
Is this all done manually or is there a plug-in I am missing? I have looked on how to do split screen with the same clip and I possibly just don’t know the correct terms to search.

Can be done manually by duplicating the clips and using the mask shape tool under fiters menu. The tool allows you to shape clips vertically or horizontally.
