split screen in resolve 8?
Posted by Joel Arvidsson on June 30, 2011 at 10:18 amHi is there possible in resolve 8 to watch the previews shot, and the one you work on at the same time? I mean for easier matching between shots?

June 30, 2011 at 10:45 amyou can import stills and then use wipe to compare.
Or in your case make still from previous shot. R mouse click and make still.
Then go to next shot. Make still active and press apple w and you should have wipe enabled.Hope this helps.

Select the clip you are on and then the shot before or after (or both) hit loop and then you can see the shots playing side by side. Can add up to 4 so your screen is quad split and will play all.

July 5, 2011 at 7:54 amWell, I agree, a moving comparison through the still gallery would be great.
So everything as it its now, just the clips playing back.
You could even make it really smart so it starts playback from the frame you are on the master timeline.
And if the little gallery thing had a slider, you could adjust its position in time there.A slice of color…
