Split Screen
First I want to say how much I appreciate this forum. I have always been able to find answers to my questions regarding Vegas without ever having to make a post. Inevitably someone else will ask or has asked the same question that I may have and this forum is always there with an answer, so thank you!
MTV produces a program called Laguna Beach and in the opening sequence they use a split screen to introduce the characters. The interesting part of the split screen is a) how they get into the split screen and b) how the transition line between the two images is meandering from left to right and appears to have a vertical motion to it.
My question is: can Vegas perform these split screen details and if so, how. And might there be a script that would help speed the process. Unfortunately MTV does not have the opening sequence on-line but a small example can be seen at the end of some of the trailers they have posted about the show. Of course it can also be seen on-air with the repeats MTV provides.
