How would I split a screen. I have a lecture that I do
every week. I’d like to split the screen while the main
speaker is on one side talking and the audience is on the other side
so that people can view what the audience response is (without fliping in the multi. Is that possible. I see this on TV all the
time. Just would like to try this.

You could use Track Motion to position the tracks side-by-side or perhaps keep the speaker full screen and make the audience a picture-in-picture inset or visa versa. Track Motion will allow you to do both.

If you really want to split two full screens you could use Pan/Crop to crop the images and use Track Motion to move them left and right. I have a tutorial on my web site that shows you how to do this:

Thanks Is there a place that I can see that being done.
Does Vasst have a video. I have never used Track Motion.
(this can be done in a multi cam setting)

It’s pretty easy to do. Press the Track Motion button. Resize your video by dragging one of the corners and re-position your video my dragging the whole frame. There’s not a lot to it. I have a few tutorials on my site on Parent Motion which works the same way.
