I had seen this problem reported a while ago, but just noticed it in our own HVX200. There is a distinct discrepancy in image color between the left and right halves of the image. In an image of relatively uniform color it’s quite noticeable and renders the image unusable. Does Panasonic perform repairs for this inherent problem, or is this just intrinsic to the way the HVX200 achieves its HD image? Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    David

It sounds like you have a problem that the service folks should take a look at. Be very specific in your complaint and if you can, please record some footage and show them where the problem is. It sounds like something has gone haywire in the White or black shading circuit. But that is just a gues. This is not an inherent problem with the camera. It is just something that can happen to a camera.

Go to http://www.panasonic.com and click on support and drill down to service center.
