    How to do a simple split edit either for audio preceding video or visa versa on the timeline…using latest PP CC 2014

    Hi Kent,
    You can find split edit commands in the Marker menu and contextual menu in the Source Monitor. If you’d like keyboard shortcuts, make a feature request: https://adobe.ly/feature_request

    Thanks Kevin – what I meant was can we do a split on the timeline? I

    ‘ve got broll shots for 8 seconds so I want audio to go that long then I want the interview to pop up in vision at that 8 second point – so I know how to do a split edit in source window, but can we in timeline?

    bit more accurate that way if broll is already in and want to do all in the timeline…is there a way, yet?

    Hi Kent,
    Personally, I just Option + drag either audio or video to make the split edit in the Timeline. Feel free to make a feature request if that’s not what you’re looking for.
