    Hello all,
I am having trouble when I try to separate the audio from the video in my project. When I drag the .AVI clip onto the timeline, it keeps the video on Video 1 layer but drops the audio down the layer 4, and won’t let me drag it to any other layer. Is there a way to unlock the track so I can move it to other layers?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    hi

buddy i think the audio is 5.1 dolby that why ur audio is coming in new layer coz default project setting imports 2.1 sterio music in audio 1 pls check the audio chennel in time line left side.
better convert it in 2.1 sterio chennel

or u can unlink the music
right clik on the layer and clik on unlink

    regards
