is it possible to create a flat dohnut using splines? Maybe a ring would be a better example

Basically im trying to create an outer and inner spline. The outer being the solid and inner being void so when extruding only the outer ring rises and not the inner.

Im trying to apply this theory to a pavement around a road and want to avoid booleans where possible as they tend to be a bit of a resource drain.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Bryan,

Try this: make a circle spline. Copy it and give it a smaller radius. Put both splines into a Loft NURBs object and turn off the caps. Then you can take the larger spline and move it up or down as you wish. You can put as many circles as you want into the Loft and move them around for different effects.
