Spiral Effect
Hey guys,
I’m looking for an easy way to create the ‘spiral’ effect that is seen over the ABC7 logo and other parts of this video: https://hothauscreative.com/pages/wlsreel_popup.html
I tried the effect myself by creating a half-circle in Photoshop and creating a transparent mask to hide parts of it. Then I applied Trapcode Shine to give it a nice effect.
Simply, I know there has to be an easier way achieve this effect. If it helps, I have Trapcode Particular, which I assume could also be used to create this effect.

looks like 3d stroke plug in to me, pretty easy and straight forward, if I am seeing what your asking about. Good luck.
