This hasn’t been an issue before, but for some reason when I tried to make a spinning logo today, the side texture would only wrap around the periphery of the transparent field on my graphic, rather than around the irregular edges of the logo itself.

I tried rebuilding the graphic in Photoshop and then importing it again, with no luck.

As usual, I’m using a tweaked version of the “shatter” effect to do the spinning motion.

Is there a setting I should check, or is it possible that the problem originated in Photoshop?

[Nadaav Zohar] “As usual, I’m using a tweaked version of the “shatter” effect to do the spinning motion. “

You must bring the custom shatter Map into Shatter in order to be able to extrude the piece. You do not not indicate you have done that properly.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

    Thanks for replying!

My shatter map is set to “custom,” and it matches the file name of the background image. Nevertheless, I’ll double-check next time I’m at work.
