I have been searching to find out how i can make a spinning globe animation in after effects 6.5

I have looked through a few tutorials and even downloaded some project files, none of which have worked for me. One file said that i am missing the CC Sphere plugin.

Could someone please shed some light on how i can create this, a friend of mine needs this animation and i am drawing a blank.

I’m not as experienced as Dave, but I think he means CyCore. Unless CyCore used to be called Canoa during the 6.5 era, that is…

    It’s already in AE.
Effects > Perspective > CC Sphere is exactly what you want.
You need a seamless, wraparound globe image to apply it to.

Just to reinterate what Dave said, CC effects only come preinstalled with AECS3: previous versions require a separate installation.

is there a way to download the Cycore package for 6.5? I went to their site, and the CycoreHD package that they have for download isn’t working for me, unless i installed it wrong.

Sorry, I didn’t notice where he said what version he’s on.
But yea, it’s on the installation disk.
