  Spinning beachball in Log & Capture

  Hi,

  When I go in Log & Capture, FCP goes into a long spinning beachball, about 5 mins or so and when the cursor comes back, moving the Log & Capture window will send it back to another 5 mins or so spinning beachball.

  This system is running FCP 5.0.4 with Quicktime 7.0.3 and was working fine until an update to iTunes was done, which is 7.0.3.

  Anyone seen this behaviour before ?

  We’ve already trashed FCP preferences, tried a new user, reinstalled FCP and still the same problem.

  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
