spinning beach ball
Posted by David Hudson on February 5, 2015 at 6:13 pmUgh! I have a library that if I select one of the 3 events in the browser I get the beachball. Does not happen with the other two events. Also happens if I click on the Library itself.
Any thoughts?David Hudson replied 11 years, 3 months ago 2 Members · 5 Replies -

February 5, 2015 at 7:31 pmWhat’s in the event? That can happen with corrupted media or something heavily processor intensive such as H.264 archives. or media stored across a network drive or shared out to Dropbox.

February 5, 2015 at 8:35 pmwell, so I was hacking around and took out some footage that had been unlinked and all is well again.
Now FCPX was fine for several days with these files being unlinked but then yesterday started the beachball. So I guess something in there went south, weird.
Noah Thanks for looking into this! Sorry for the fire drill. This is the first time in 2 years Ive had FCPX turn unresponsive (get a spinning beachball)
