    I don’t know what this is really called, or if AE can actually do this. I saw an effect of video footage playing in individual little frames (these frames were 5×5 that consist of on big frame). Then the footage was playing as one in the one big frame. (So we have a huge square that consist of several squares).

    Then the whole frame just flew off the screen.

    I saw something like this in the Jack Nicholson’s movie, “Witches of Eastwick”.
    Can anyone tell me how this is done. Or what software is capable of doing this.

    Hi
    You can create this squares i.e. with CC Griddler applied on a white solid and use this solid as a Luma Matte for your footage.
