    Hi guys and girls,

hope you’ve all had a good christmas and new years.

Just a question here; Do any of you know a way to speed up baking dynamics? It’s just taking about 15 mins to cache a single pillow over 3 seconds.

    Cheers,

hard to know without seeing the scene file but if it’s a detailed object with a ton of polys it’s going to take some time. Is it a full detail pillow (not modelled with SubD for smoothing)? Is it landing on a simple object or another softbody?

It’s a detailed pillow, relatively high poly count. And I was trying to make a pile of pillows, but having more than 1 soft body in the scene caused my computer to crash, so I’m dropping them 1 by 1 and making the landed pillows into collider bodies.
I thought it was going to take some time, I just wanted to know if there was a trick I might have over looked to speed it up.
