Speeding up AE
Hey guys whats a good way to speed up AE on my computer? I already went into the system prefs and bumped up the amount of RAM that my computer will use when it’s running but is that it? Or are there other things I can do. Im running the program on a G5 with 2.5 Gigs of RAM but it seems to get a little choppy when I use the text tool and motion blur and all that. Is that normal?

YES! I have been hitting the spacebar! Ill stay away from now on. I guess that was my problem. I was looking at it like an editing program like final cut. I wont do that anymore 🙂 thanks for the heads up!
