Speeding a clip up
Posted by Nicholas Dean on February 9, 2010 at 8:37 pmI am adding speed boost to a clip to accelerate the clip, but it gives me no options to adjust.
Is there a better way to speed up my clip. It is a time-lapse of people walking and I need to speed it up. Thanks.

February 9, 2010 at 10:29 pmSet in and out points for your clip. From the Fast Menu (burger or map it to one of your keys), select Motion Effect. You can enter a speed, % or fit-to-fill.

February 4, 2014 at 4:23 pmHi all,
I have the speed set in my clip, however, I’d like to “ease” into the maximum speed. So, instead of just hitting the clip at (now) 900% speed, I’d like to go from 100% to the 900% in the 12 frames I have allotted for the effect. How is this achieved?
Thanks much in advance!!

Joeyps. Vice Versa. I’d like to know how to “ease” from maximum speed to 100% as well!
Thanks again!! -

February 13, 2014 at 8:36 pmto ease into highspeed:
add timewarp
edit timewarp
click the graphing icon
set a keyframe a 0%
then whenever you’re ready for it to start speeding up add another keyframe at 0%
then add a keyframe at a higher % like 1000%the keyframe icon is the pink triangle
do the reverse to ease out
