speed ramp 100% to 0%
Can anyone help me with this? I am coming from Avid and I’m completely flummoxed. The speed section of the motion tab only seems to let me speed up the clip before I slow it down. What am I missing?
Any advice appreciated. -

What version of FCP are you using Stephen? Please forgive me for asking, but have you studied the manual with regards to FCP’s time remapping functionality or are you just trying to intuit it? Just need to know where we are starting from.

Sorry, I am on version 7. I have sort of got it to work just from playing around but it feels a bit random. I changed speed to 50%, then added curves to start and end, then adjusted the bezier curves. It all just feels a bit long winded. Is there a better way than what I have done here?
