    1. Is there a way to change the speed of a pan (in pan/crop) when the event is being panned in a straight line. In other words, I want to pan from one side to the other but to go slow towards the center. It seems the only way to change the speed is to change the path.
    2. This is minor, but is there a way to set “smooth” as a default.
    Thanks

    1. Using more keyframes will definitely help.
    D. Eric Franks did an excellent tutorial on keyframing that’s worth a look.

    2. If you’re using Vegas Pro, Sony made a change in Pro 9 that allowed you to change several defaults.
Options > Prefs > External Control & Automation.
Change the parameter highlighted below to 1.0

    Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply. That was a really eye opening tutorial. Thanks for telling me about it. I’m going to watch it several times.
Thanks also for the smoothing tip preference.

    Hi Mike,
It would be really nice if there were a webpage somewhere where links to Vegas tutorials could be posted. I find them all so helpful.

Roger, I agree that would be great but it would be a formidable task as there are a lot of great tutorials all over the place and organizing them would be a major undertaking.
I have a bunch that I’ve bookmarked and periodically refer to but I know that it’s not a comprehensive list by any stretch of the imagination.
