speed issues
I have no problems slowing down clips in the timeline by selecting the clip and going into motion and lowering the speed of the clip. When i try to speed things up however, final cut is giving me an error…
im trying to spee dup my film by say 350, and it is not just speeding up my edited clip, but adding on more footage past my edit point to keep the said durration of the clip the same, but the speed of the clip now at 350,
is there an easier way to adjust the speed of my clips in fcp?

Sure. Select the Clip, Command J. Enter the settings. Done.

Instead of adjusting the speed, try using the Time Remap in the Motion tab. You can set keyframes and change the speed of the entire clip, or part of the clip without having to split it. Play around with that feature and see if it helps.

thats where im having my issues.
i deleted my prefs and it seems to be working now, not sure what i messed up to get that error message

the error reads…
“unable to complete command, a conflict occurred during a trim operation”anyone had this error before?
