I have side scrolling animation that has a forground, background, and distant background. Each position uses the “time*spd*slider control” approach. I want to increase the speed of each layer by slightly increasing the value of the slider control from 1 to 3.

I used the expression on motionscript.com (https://www.motionscript.com/articles/speed-control.html#linear) to bypass the problem of “jumping” when the speed controller keyframe changes, but instead the value of the slider simply increases before the two keyframes are arrived at. These are the only 2 keyframes on the slider control, one is a value of 1, the other is a value of 3. By the time the first keyframe (with value of 1) is reached the slider value is at about 13 which is the time of the comp.

    What am I doing wrong?

Any way you can post a sample project?
