  • Speed change in audio to OMF?

FCP 5.0.2, 16mm film shot at 24fps, .wav files from digital tascam recorder.

Our dailies weren’t synced on tape, so we’re doing it by hand in FCP. Some of the longer takes drift because we’re obviously working @ 23.98fps, so I’m adjusting the audio speed to 99.89% to correct for drift.

Eventually this is going to get output as an OMF and a 29.97fps digibeta to mix against, does anyone have suggestions or warnings regarding these audio speed changes in FCP 5?

    thanks!
