Posted by Klaus on December 1, 2005 at 3:03 amHow do you make a speed change to an individual clip in the timeline without affecting the position of the clips which follow?

December 1, 2005 at 3:14 amThat’s what I’m doing at the moment, but it seems quite inefficient. Especially when you are experimenting with different speed changes. Surely there must be a better way.

December 1, 2005 at 3:19 amOkay…put that clip on the upper most video track all by itself and lock all of the rest of the video and audio tracks and play with speeds all you want.

December 1, 2005 at 6:15 ambetter to Match Frame to Original (Command Option F) otherwise your masterclip retains your speed adjustment rather than just the particular timeline instance
