speed background
Does anyone know how to, or where I can find a turtorial on creating a background that looks like it is going extremely fast.
I am doing graphics for a race car company and they would like a “really fast looking backgound”. The client discribed it as sitting in the driver’s seat of one of his racecars and looking out the passenger side.

Drive in a car with a camera out the side window and add blur

Take any video, strech it out on the y value, around 2000%….Add gausian blur and glow to get really nice highlights….also add the levels filter to create a higher contrast. Now animate the y position as fast as you like….
This is a good starting point….will need some tweaking, but will definately get you where you want to go.Mark
