Speech Transcription – other languages?
Hello –
I’m using CS4 on a Mac, and am trying out the speech transcription feature. It all works fine, except in the “Language” pulldown menu, the only available option is “English – U.S.” The other languages (German, English – Canada, U.K., Spanish, French,) are in the list, but all are ghosted. Anyone know what I need to do to activate them? I have a Spanish interview to transcribe, recorded in Tijuana, so I’d really like to try the “Spanish – Latin America” setting.

Try:
https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/speechtotext/download the language you want and install it.
Hopefully the languages just need to be reinstalled…
