I successfully used the Speech Analysis feature in Premiere Pro CS6. However, I noticed one very annoying feature. When importing the project into AE through Dynamic Link, each word comes in as a marker on the layer. This amounts to thousands of markers. Not to mention, I placed markers on the audio track to mark where graphics are to appear. I can’t find them because the layer is riddled with markers! I tried exporting the timeline from Premiere as a clip, but it still happened there too. How do I make this not happen? I can’t delete the text from the analysis text in the metadata unless I delete it one word at a time. I went through all my export settings and couldn’t find anything to not allow that to happen.

I need to only send the markers I placed on the audio track along with the sequence to AE, not the entire script.

And I just figured how to make this stop and only import the markers I placed for graphics. In AE, go to After Effects – Preferences – Media & Disk Cache and uncheck ‘Create Layer Markers from Footage XMP Metadata.’
