SpectSoft’s new website is live…..

Usually not that big of a deal, except we are doing things a bit different, go figure!

We are always looking for efficient ways to communicate to our users so when we began using an in-house wiki it was discussed how we could roll this into the website, little did I know that it would become our website….

Everyone contributes to the wiki and each hour a script crawls thru and generates the pages you see on this site. It’s an ongoing project in which we continue to work the kinks out but so far I have been very pleased. There are still a few issues with how the website interprets some of the wiki information and not everything is up and running yet, but we anticipate having everything else in by next week. We also have some limitations on what and how we can make items display to the website, but with time and a little ingenuity this will get worked out. If you do find anything that needs to be fixed or if your interested in details on how we are doing this please don’t hesitate to drop me an email.

Also remember that this is our working documentation in-house and will contain papers and information from others(all NDA stuff is kept seperate). We try not to re-invent the wheel when it’s not necessary. Dig deep and you will find some very helpful information……………
