    Hello Guys..
We are just to star post on a documentary that was shoot totally in DVcam. The hole idea is to finish this on 35mm blow up, but also know it may not happend. The reason for this post is to get some direction on how to setup our sequences to minimize mistakes in future.

    So specific questions:
If we have all footage shoot in 29:97 do we edit on a 29.97 timeline or on a 24p sequence
If so what will be the best way to remove pull down, in the capture with a Kona 3 card or with a software plugin.

What will be the best way to deliver to color correction on a Digibeta, HDcam480 or a uncompress quicktime.

Please forgive me it this are very dumb questions, This is the 1st time we will do our project output to film, and like to find the right direction.

    Thanks in advance.

    JC

Edit at the camera frame rate (29.97) and output to digi beta. Then go to a facility with an Alchemist or Teranex and do the upscaling and pulldown removal.
