I currently have a AMD64 processor(single-core) and a geforce 7300
should I upgrade to a dual core processor—- or a better video card ( geforce 7950 )
what would be best for PI3
note: I have 2gb of RAM

particleIllusion does not currently take advantage of multiple CPUs, so better video card might be better. It’s difficult to say exactly though. One thing you can try on your current setup is to add a medium-complexity emitter to the stage. Then try different zoom settings and see how the playback speed changes. If at higher zooms things slow down noticeably, then your video card is at least part of the problem.

it really only has problems when adding multiple emmiters so I will get the new video card i think
