What are the formats of all of the files that you have on the timeline? The dump you posted was a memory access violation which is never a good sign. It could be a failing memory chip in your PC or it could just be a corrupt file. It looks the main Concept MPEG encoder and the CineForm encoder DLLs were both also in the dump. I assume you have a mixture of MPEG-2 and CineForm on the timeline?

What format are the files? Where did they come from? What are your project settings? Tell us as much as you can about what you are using, how you are set up, and what you have done.

The files are MPEG1’s because I am capturing video game footage from my capture card.

Project settings are HDV 720-30p (1280×720, 29.970 fps)
I tried rendering to mpeg1 (for somereason it gives the best quality on youtube for video games – it’s brighter) and wmv.

They both stay at 0. I don’t get the error anymore, when I render, it just stays at zero. That’s my main and only problem.

What are the attributes of the MPEG-1 files? i.e., what is the resolution and frame rate? Are you capturing in HDV 720p? What capture card? Perhaps the MPEG-1 files it’s creating are not compatible with Vegas.

MPEG-1 is an extremely old format used for things like VideoCD that no one uses anymore. I’m wondering if Sony even tests with this anymore. It’s kind of left over support from a era gone by.

You definitely need to change your workflow for future projects. For now, you may need to convert the MPEG-1 files into something that is easier to edit.

The mpeg files arent the problem. I’ve been working with this format and this gamebridge for over 1 year, with no problem. This file just won’t render; it stays at 0%.

How do I fix that, I need to do this project asap.
