I use Adobe After Effect, but it doesn’t have own system of particles. Maybe anyone knows: which program is better for creating of special effects? I want to make some nice footages for my video. I need a program, which will be have plugin for Adobe After Effect.

After Effects most certainly does have particle emitters – take a look here:

That said, you will find that a third party effect such as Particular will give you a lot more power and more alternative looks than the built in particle effects.

Element 3D is at it’s core a particle system, very advanced one.

I used Wondertouch Particle Illusion several years ago, and it came (at the time) with a huge number of presets and libraries, from fire and fairy dust, to all sorts of water, electronic effects, smoke, and other which are too cool to describe.

Yes, I think, Particle Illusion is a good program. There is many interesting special effects really. Unfortunatly, at present the program is not improve. I have downloded Magic particles from astralax too. It has very nice special effects of fire, fog, electric, fantasy effects, including 3d effects. Besides plugin for After effect is free.
