This is probably pretty simple to you pros, but I can’t figure it out. I would like to have the end of an event go from the moving video to a fast white screen. It needs to be like a burst of light starting towards the top middle of the screen like a small light (white) round in shape and rapidly growing out to fill the entire screen. If anyone can understand what I’m trying to say and help me out I would be grateful.

    Thanks,

You could just use a white generated media, apply a cookie cutter to that. Keyframe it to start with a really small white dot and end up full screen.

    Hi Edward,
Thanks for your help. That is going to work out great. I do have a small problem I can’t figure out. With the white generated media on the timeline above my video i’m getting this small white box showing through onto my video below. I can’t get rid of this small white box? How do I get rid of it? Once that’s gone I’m home free.

    Thanks!

Thanks again for your help Edward.
What email address should I send to?
Also can I use Excalibur 4.2 in Vegas 5?

    Thanks,
    Mike Sullivan

    Hi Edward,

I fixed whatever was doing strange things to my project. I downloaded Vegas 6 and it didn’t have the weird bug I was experiencing in V5.

I responded to your e-mail with a possible solution. Also, yes Excalibur 4.2 will run in Vegas 5.
