    Aloha,

I am using a MOTU 896HD to listen to the audio with FCP 4.5. My audio is 3 frames out of sync when going to the MOTU. How can I correct this? If I play back to my G5’s built-in audio everything is in sync.

    Mahalo,

Sounds like your audio output is set to “Built In Audio” rather than whatever device you’re using to feed your video monitor. Audio and Video must come from the same source to be in sync.

You can also use your “Playback Offset” to change this. Default is four frames. I always need to reset this to Zero whenever I trash prefs to ensure that the audio from the Kona 2 is in sync.
