Speaker Off During Logging and Capturing in 5.14?
For some reason I am finding it difficult enabling my speakers to play during logging and capturing. When I go to my Capture Presets (within Audio/Video Settings) and look in the Summary I see that I have my Speaker turned off. In the past, I would simply open up my Capture Preset settings and within this tab I would locate the Quicktime Audio Settings. Here there would be an Advanced button which I would click. From here I could simply select Speaker Off While Recording from the dropdown menu. This was in prior versions to Final Cut (HD) that I was using. I’m now using Final Cut Pro 5.1.4, and there doesn’t seem to be that Advanced button any longer..?
Is there another place that I now need to be looking? Has this been moved? How can I change whether or not I want my speakers on while logging and capturing?

Yes, it has been moved… and I find it strange too. When you bring up the “log and capture” window, you can find the option in there (can’t remember exactly where, but there’s a checkbox you need to select).

under the Audio section; check ‘PREVIEW’ on.Is that what you’re looking for?
