  • Spatial Tangents of A Keyframe?

    Hi all,

The title pretty much explains it all. Is there a way to get the in and out spatial tangents of a 2D / 3D keyframe within an expression?

I’ve tried playing around with velocityAtTime(), but it gives a value that, while in the same direction as the spatial tangent, has the wrong magnitude, and I can’t figure out the relationship between the magnitude of the velocity and the magnitude of the spatial tangent.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I think it’s possible using extendScript. Have you played with velocity or speedAtTime values? Velocity is supposed to return the tangent vector value for spatial properties, like position.
