This isn’t a high priority but has been driving me nuts.

When setting keyframes in After Effects it defaults to a Spacial Interpolation set to Auto Bezier. For the record, I HATE AUTO BEZIER. I’m sure that there are uses for it but I have not needed it yet.

Is there a way to make the Spatial Interpolation default to Linear? It would save me time and headache not having to reset the setting to Linear every time I put a key frame in.

That is all. If it is not possible I will just live with the way I’m doing it. Thanks.

From the help file (found by searching for default spatial interpolation)

To change the default to linear interpolation, choose Edit > Preferences > General (Windows) or After Effects > Preferences > General (Mac OS), and select Default Spatial Interpolation To Linear. Changing the preference setting does not affect keyframes that already exist or new keyframes on properties for which keyframes already exist.

Also, it’s in the first page of the preferences. You might have looked there first 🙂
