I have Boris Continuum 7 with Final Cut Pro 7.

I need to create a small sparkle effect at a specific location on the screen.

I do not know how to create that effect.

With a different non-linear editor I used a star effect, determined the number of points and with key frames made the star open from the center and then close.

Have NO clue on how to do that with Boris & FCP.

    Thanks for info.

    Hello Theo,

Yes, I am familiar with the filter that your link connected to.

I am looking for only one sparkle, let’s say to be place on one tooth of a smiling person to indicate how clean and sparkling the teeth are.

    Thanks for your info.

    You mean like this?

I did that with BCC Glint using a Glint Threshold of 98.95

Exactly, I shall try it that way.

    Best.

You can also play with the Glint Frequency which controls the amount of glints added in the effect. Increasing this value creates more glints and reducing it creates less.
