    Hi
Have just bought a new monitor and want to lay out a heap of stills. .As i have now 2 screens is it possible to span the time over both screens?I realize I can shift most things over to the to other screen, but is it possible to scan time line from one screen to the other so that I can make it easier to see what i am doing?
    Thanks in advance
    Wayne

As long as your video card is capable of dual monitor support, you should be able to do this very easily.
You’ll need to go into the menu for it and adjust it accordingly.

Hi ,Thanks for the help.Pretty sure my card can do it but not sure what u are saying here.Looked hard and cant find it in the preference menu-sorry to be so dim here but which menu are u talking about. All I want to do is span my time line across in a single line across both monitors so that it will be easier with all the stills that I have to sort
    thanks again

Spanning two screens is a function of your video card and has nothing to do with Vegas.
I’ve only got a single 24″ monitor here at home but use dual screens on the work computers.
As I recall, right-click on your desktop, select Properties and go from there.
I’ve got an nVidia card and when I right-click, NVIDIA Control Panel is one of the options and the dual display settings are in there.
