    Spanned Clip Not Importing: Is There a Way???

    Hi All,

    I have a file that the Sony XDCAM Browser software is displaying an “incomplete clip. Try using the recording device”. This file I believe started on one card and spanned a second card.

    I rented the camera only have the copied data. Is there a way I can glue this back together so it works?

    Please advise with any thoughts and thanks.

    Yes, manually import the .mp4s to a new BPAV. highlight a location in Browser’s explorer window, make a new folder, then file–>import the .mp4s to this location. This will create a new BPAV archive with new metadata.
