span map over several objects
Hello ….
I am pretty new to c4d. I am have got about seven objects and would like to map a video that spans over these objects. I tried grouping them but it does not seem to apply the map over all the objects..
I was wondering if anyone could help me to create such an effect…

hi,
7 objects, select all , make editable , and connect.
select the polygons you want to texture , than set selection, give name
apply your material and use texture axsis tool for position it.

it will apply over all members of a group if you apply the texture to the null containing the objects then scale the texture up using the Texture Axis tool. (Flat mapping probably best but it should work with anything except UVW)
or possibly Camera Mapping or a light gel
