    Hi,

could someone PLEASE please please advise me how to create effects like the following.

Example 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNYULyyD1zw See 33 seconds into the video. The particles fly past the ships and helps give a feeling of movement and depth to the image.

Example 2: https://www.studiodaily.com/main/technique/casestudies/8355.html . In this one, after we go through the clouds the fast particles that shoot past you look amazing but have no idea how to create it.

I tried searching for information myself, and went on video copilot in order to see if his Nano commercial tutorial could help me but it all looks wrong.

Forget the second example if its a lot harder, I just really need to know how to make the particles in the first one. Hope you can help, thanks!

only watched example 2 – looks really simple actually. Have you ever stood in the shower and watched your feet whilst the water races past your head – same principle in play here.

I would create a 3d project and using a camera positioned to point straight down, i would locate a particle generator (probably Particular – thats what was used on the shot you liked) directly abve the camera. Then create a rain effect or find a rain preset, make sure there is no wind turbulence switched in – you don’t want the particles swaying sideways. Let gravity creat ethe motion for you.

Sometimes if you step back and try understand what natural effect is being replicated, it can help make it easier to figure out how to re-create it.
