    Hi there,

We are producing a range of short clips for an instructional DVD-Rom and are looking to find opinions on the export settings which give the best quality, with the least amount of space.A rough guideline would be 1 second meaning 1.5mbs.

The visuals are 16:9, and need to be good enough quality to feature on a 60-inch projection.

Any feedback or questions are greatly appreciated!

The most compatible would be Flash these days. You can export a full navigation based project in that format from Adobe Encore.

Other than that, you would probably want to stick with either DVD format (mpeg2) or provide both Windows media and Quicktime files.

The main advantage of the Flash export is that you can replicate the navigation available in standard DVDs, without any additional work.
