I’ve trying to use a Negative Character Type Set similar to this one to create a dynamic text box easily updated by a script. But After Effects doesn’t understand the “space character” (UFT-0020) as is it is in the type character set, I just get and empty transparent space.

Does anybody knows a way to turn around this issue? I’ve resolved the problem replacing my underscore sign by a block in my .TTF but it means that I have to be sure no one insert a space in the .txt used as input for the script. It would be easier and reliable if I found a way to make After Effects recognize my TTF space character!

    Thanks for any answer.
