I am working with some black objects on a transparent background that I would like to lay over another clip in the timeline. Is there a way to make the background in the source viewer window another color besides black so that i am able to see my black objects? The file that I’m working with was exported from AE with an alpha channel.
Working in CS 6 on a MAC.
    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Ellen,
The option for a checkerboard background was a feature in Premiere Pro CC 2014. It does not exist in Premiere Pro CS6. Sorry.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Thanks. I guess it’s time for an upgrade.
